Head of Asset Management
We manage operational wind, solar and battery storage projects to ensure that they perform safely and effectively.
Owing to our continued expansion, we are looking to appoint a Head of Asset Management to our team. While the majority of the asset management team are based in Kildare, this is a hybrid role with the option of working partially from home or from another hub.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence

Ensure all managed assets are operated safely, in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Oversee maintenance strategies to maximize asset availability and production output.

Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop the asset management team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Set clear objectives and provide guidance to ensure delivery of operational and strategic goals.
Continuous Improvement

Identify and drive improvement projects to enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and optimize lifecycle management.

Champion innovation and best practices within asset management processes.
Commercial Oversight

Review and approve asset management sales proposals, ensuring alignment with technical and financial standards.

Support business development by providing expertise on asset performance and operational risk.
Skills & Experience
-
Proven experience in asset management within the energy sector (renewables preferred).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent understanding of operational safety, maintenance strategies, and performance optimization.

Commercial acumen with experience reviewing proposals and contracts.

Ability to lead improvement initiatives and manage change effectively.
